We are currently looking for a home for Beleasy who is a 12 year old, 14 hands mare who is looking for a permanent retirement home. She has a pelvic injury so cant be riden, (it also means she
cant kick!). Beleasy is quiet and would make an ideal companion for another pony.

For more details pls contact Kate 087 7954351

We get a lot of calls from members of the public in relation to cows, sheep, pigs, horses, ponies,

donkeys, etc that are in distress, starving, neglected or abused, particularly in winter months.

Where possible we do all we can to help these poor creatures but at times we forward on the report

to the Department of Agriculture who then send down an inspector/vet to examine the animals involved.

One of our more recent success stories is that of Aideen, a TB mare who was found abandoned in woodland

in East Clare, she was in horrific condition when she was discovered by a tourist who contacted a local veterinary

surgery who passed on our contact details. Thanks to this lady Aideen was found just in time and after a lot

of medical treatment and tlc she has made great progress to date. So much so that we are currently looking

for someone who would be willing to foster her long term (any medical treatment will be covered by us),

she would be most suited to someone who is looking for a horse to keep another one company as

she is not suitable for riding due to damage to her left front hoof/leg. If you think you could offer a good

home to Aideen please contact us and we will answer any questions you may have.
