LOST / FOUND /STOLEN Under The Control Of Dogs Act All Dogs Are Required By Law To Wear A Collar With Identification On It At All Times What To Do When Your Pet Is Lost/Stolen - Ring your local dog pound/warden, local rescues, guards, vets, petshops. Print up and circulate posters with his/her description or better still a photograph, where he/she went missing from & when and your contact details. What To Do When You Find A Lost Pet - Follow the same procedures as stated above and remember that if you take the animal into your care then you become legally responsible for it’s welfare and you must ensure that it is kept under control on your property. Don’t forget to also get it scanned for a microchip as more and more people are ensuring their pets are microchipped. 27-06-09 - Golden Labrador Lost In Ballyvaughan, Co Clare On Saturday the 27th of June a family from Galway were visiting the Ballyvaughan area for the day and lost their 2yr old male golden labrador, Tyson. Tyson is microchipped and is probably afraid as he does not know the area he was lost in. Lost / Stolen 25th October 2 x 8 month old female labradoodle puppies missing (believed stolen !!) since the 25th Oct they are both microchipped and spayed and wearing collars and tags when they disappeared.
